LU-Card and OV-chip card

The LU-Card and OV-chip card experience problems when used together.

The LU-Card and OV-chip card experience problems when held together at a card reader.

Advice: keep your LU-Card and OV-chip separate. Do not hold both cards to a card reader.

Background
The LU-Card and OV-chip card are both Mifare cards. They use the same frequency and use the same protocol. If both cards are held near a card reader, both cards will communicate with the reader. The reader has difficulty recognizing the correct card and it takes longer before one of cards is recognized.

In addition, the reader transmits a certain amount of energy to the card. If there are two cards in that energy field, they share this energy. It is possible that both cards get too little energy to work properly.
